Kevin Tseng
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Kevin has spent the majority of his career in private equity investing alongside talented operational managers and entrepreneurial company founders with the mission of building for operational growth, either organically or through acquisition. Prior to launching Lumina in 2020, Kevin was a Vice President within the healthcare services team at Health Evolution Partners (“HEP”, a San Francisco-based $500 million private equity fund). While at HEP, Kevin was a Board Member of two HEP companies, Optimal Radiology and Halcyon Healthcare. Prior to HEP, Kevin worked at J.W. Childs Associates (a Boston-based $2 billion private equity fund) and Credit Suisse Securities. A native of Cleveland, OH, Kevin and his family reside in Phoenix, AZ. In their spare time, they can be found hiking, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors. He holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the Max M. Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University.
Kyle Anderson
Assistant Controller
As Assistant Controller, Kyle oversees accounting and financial reporting at Lumina. Passionate about accounting processes, he believes that patient care and operational excellence start with a disciplined, refined, and transparent corporate function. Prior to Lumina, Kyle served as Accounting Manager for surgery center management startup Atlas Healthcare Partners. There, Kyle integrated 15+ acquisitions in collaboration with Banner Health. In 2023, he received an outstanding leadership award for his work. Originally from Chicago, Kyle earned an accounting degree from the University of Illinois. He now enjoys the hot weather with his cat, Jensen, and stays active by practicing yoga, martial arts, and dancing. Kyle is also a licensed CPA in Arizona.
Alissa LaCorte
District Manager
Alissa serves as Director of Operations for Lumina Vision Partners in Arizona, bringing over 20 years of experience in the eyecare industry. Most recently, Alissa was a Practice Manager for Lumina’s largest location, Akers Pearson Eyecare in Mesa, AZ. Throughout her career, Alissa has worked in various roles within the industry, including front desk, teaching, supervisory positions, and practice manager. She has experience in both private practice and corporate settings and holds certifications as both a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (“COA”) and American Board of Opticianry Certification (“ABOC”). Alissa lives in Phoenix, AZ and enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and two children.
Tara Guljas
INTEGRATION SPECIALIST
Tara has spent the majority of her career in the eye care industry. Prior to joining team Lumina, she worked in a private optometry practice for 17 years, evolving her way up from a receptionist to a technician, optician, and eventually an office manager. Her years of experience and knowledge of the field are a very important aspect of her role as Lumina’s Integration Specialist. Tara is an Arizona native and currently resides in Phoenix with her family. In her spare time, she loves to travel and eat good food. Tara has a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the University of Phoenix.
Amanda Lancaster
MARKETING COORDINATOR
Amanda Lancaster serves as the Marketing Coordinator for Lumina Vision Partners. As such, she plans and executes marketing campaigns through email, website management, social media and paid search ads to reconnect with established patients and attract new patients to our network of practices. Prior to joining the Lumina network in 2021, she provided marketing support for Dr. Kerry Pearson's four practices in the Phoenix metro area (in addition to her role as an optometric technician since 2013). Amanda lives in the White Mountains of Show Low in Eastern Arizona where she enjoys camping and hiking in the forest with her husband and two dachshund-chihuahuas.
Mike Stein
Senior Director of Operations
Mike leads the field operations team, overseeing multiple regions to ensure operational excellence, patient satisfaction, and business growth across all practice locations. He works closely with senior leadership to execute company strategy, drive process innovation, and maintain high standards of patient care and service. Prior to joining Lumina, Mike was Director of Operations at Total Vision, where he led the expansion from 19 to over 50 locations. With 19 years of multi-unit leadership experience at Target and Best Buy, Mike brings deep expertise in scaling operations. Based in Prescott, AZ, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing pickleball, and mountain biking. Mike holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
Karl Zeller
District Manager
Karl serves as Director of Operations for Lumina Vision Partners in Arizona, bringing over 22 years of experience in the eyecare industry. Most recently, Karl was a Practice Manager for Pearson Eyecare Group in Phoenix, AZ, a current Lumina location. Karl joined the optical industry in 2002, and is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He has worked every role in the practice, from front desk to practice manager. He is also an American Board of Opticianry (“ABO”) licensed optician. Karl lives in Phoenix, AZ. He enjoys exploring Arizona and spending time with his wife, cat and three dogs.
Dennis Berry
District Manager
As Regional Director of Operations in Texas, Dennis is the first resource for all partner locations in the Texas Market. Having seen how people in the “right seats” can produce an exceptional customer experience and drive the bottom line, Dennis is very passionate about people development. Dennis has over 28 years of experience in the optical field. He has worked for some of the biggest players in optical retail as well as independent providers, including time with Luxottica Retail (a LensCrafters and Pearl Vision brand), Texas State Optical, and VSP Ventures. In that time, he has been Practice Manager of more than 10 locations (including multi-unit experience), created and led training initiatives, and achieved his ABO and NCLE certifications. Outside of work, Dennis loves staying fit and spending time laughing with his daughter.
Sierra Anderson
DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Sierra leads Lumina’s Human Resources team, partnering with our practices to recruit, retain, train, and grow top talent. She’s passionate about building systems and processes to support team members to achieve their goals and fostering a positive work environment for all. Before joining Lumina, Sierra was the first employee at Gen4 Dental Partners, a private equity-backed dental acquisition platform. Over the course of 2 years, she helped integrate 34 practices, 80+ locations and 1,200 employees. A native of Arizona, Sierra and her family currently reside in Mesa, AZ. In their spare time, they can be found skiing, wakeboarding, or playing board games. Sierra is an SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and holds bachelor’s degrees in management and human resource management from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

Amanda serves as Revenue Cycle Manager for Lumina. She has spent 20 years in RCM and worked in multiple specialties, including optometry and ophthalmology. Prior to joining Lumina, Amanda was a Revenue Cycle Manager for American Vision Partners, an private equity-backed OD/MD platform based in Phoenix, AZ. Amanda is an Arizona native, currently residing in Scottsdale, AZ. In her spare time, she enjoys road trips, camping and traveling.
Andrew Bigler
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Andrew Bigler joined Lumina Vision Partners in 2023 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Lumina, Andrew was Vice President of Finance with Priority OnDemand, a private equity-backed buy-and-build platform in the medical transportation and healthcare technology sectors. In Andrew’s 9 years with Priority OnDemand, he was involved in 15 M&A transactions as Priority grew from $10 million to over $300 million in revenue. Andrew is still an active CPA, having held his license for 16 years. He has a BS in Accounting and MBA in Financial Management and Markets from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
Dr. Kerry Pearson, OD
SVP OF CLINICAL OPERATIONS
Dr. Kerry Pearson, OD has 40 years of experience as a licensed and practicing optometrist. In 1987, he founded Pearson Eyecare Group, which ultimately grew to four locations and 10 optometrists. In fact, Dr. Pearson joined Lumina as Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations in 2021 when Pearson Eyecare Group joined Lumina. As SVP of Clinical Operations, Dr. Pearson is responsible for clinical initiatives, doctor relations & recruiting, and clinical due diligence. Dr. Pearson is a graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Arizona Optometric Association and the AOA Sports Vision Section, as well as a COPE-approved lecturer on practice management. He has 2 adult children of his own, though Dr. Pearson and his family also list being a foster family as one of their most rewarding experiences.
Dr. Nna Okochi, OD
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Nna has spent the majority of his career at the intersection of healthcare and business operations, with a background that bridges optometry and high-growth startups. Before stepping into his current role as COO of Lumina Vision Partners, Nna served as the Sr. Director of Operations for Honor Technology, a $2 billion venture-backed healthcare company based in San Francisco. While there, he played a critical role in the company's transformation from a local homecare platform to a national brand. Prior to Honor, Nna was an optometrist at a private practice in New York City. Originally from San Francisco, CA, Nna currently resides in Austin, TX. He enjoys traveling, playing competitive flag football, and challenging himself with the NY Times crossword puzzles in his spare time. Nna holds a B.A. from Harvard University and a Doctorate of Optometry from SUNY Optometry.
